These photos were contracted by the Discovery Channel for their television show Jetstream. We were given full access to the base in Cold Lake, Alberta to shoot these images.

Shooting timelapse photography of an F-18 on a freezing tarmac at 5am while the rest of the crew sits in the SUV watching Top Gun on the DVD player.

Uranium doesn’t just glow green in cartoons! That’s actual uranium he’s holding and that’s exactly how it looks when exposed under black light. That hand model now has a total of 11 fingers.

The art director and I managed to get into the cockpit of an F-18 under the watchful eye of our security detail (Igor). He later forced me to delete a bunch of photos I had taken inside of the cockpit that revealed classified instrumentation.
